Mary McFadden Kaftan

Kaftans are one of the earliest forms of fashion, going back to the 14th century.  They became a part of the hippie fashion culture of the 60's and 70's, but have had a resurgence this year.  It takes a bold personality to wear them....not for the meek and shy! 

Roberto Cavalli did fabulous kaftans in his spring/summer 2013 collection. They are works of art with gorgeous colors and flowy lines.
